Wellness Center Praid
The commune's year-round wellness centre, with a large pool of salty thermal water drawn from 1,000 m below ground, a fresh-water swimming pool, a children's pool, jacuzzis and saunas.
With the salt mine closed, this is where you can float in the salt water the area is known for, all year round.

Neighbouring village known across Romania for its pottery, with workshops and pottery shops lining the national road, 11 km from Praid.
It is the best-known pottery centre of the Salt Land, with a written tradition going back to 1613, and is easy to add to a day in Praid.

3Gothic churchBiserica reformată din Ocna de Sus
Church built in Gothic style in the 13th–14th centuries as a Roman Catholic church and Reformed since the Reformation, with a tower from 1777 and an enclosure wall.
It is the only historic monument of national importance (category A) in Praid commune and keeps traces of the medieval church.

The village's Reformed church, built between 1790 and 1796, which keeps the sanctuary of the old 15th-century Roman Catholic church; the wooden gate of the churchyard dates from 1944.
It is a listed monument right in the centre of Praid, a few minutes' walk from the guesthouses and restaurants.

Praid's salt hill, a 60-hectare geological reserve with a canyon cut by the Corund stream, and the salt mine beneath it; both have been closed to visitors since the flood of May 2025.
They are what made Praid famous, but for now you can only see them from outside the closed area, and the mine has no reopening date.
