With the salt mine closed, this is where you can float in the salt water the area is known for, all year round.
About the place
The centre opened on 3 July 2015 opposite the entrance to the Salt Mountain reserve and belongs to the commune. The 1,900 m² building holds two 10 × 20 m pools, one with fresh water for swimming and one with salty, naturally carbonated thermal water from about 1,000 m down, with three temperature zones. There is also a children's pool 60 cm deep, two jacuzzis, saunas, two steam baths, a gym and a playground.
After the salt mine flooded, the centre was closed from 2 June 2025 and reopened on 23 August 2025. Since 7 September 2026 it opens 12:00–20:00 on working days and 10:00–20:00 at weekends, in school holidays and on public holidays; in holiday periods it has sometimes stayed open until 21:00. From 9 to 20 November 2026 it is closed for maintenance.
